Whermacht have probably the best base mortar. The call in they get from lend lease isnt all that, but its a mortar. Soviet mortars are great, the 120mm is probably the best mortar in the game rnīrit mortar pit is good, if you can keep it alive. In coh2, Multiplayer USF mortars are really just smoke machines, because they dont get any damaging buffs till vet 3, mortar halftracks are a risky investment, but are actually really good, in terms of damage and utlity.
